Only a few kilometers from the highest mountain of the Jeseníky Mountains, Praděd, at an altitude of 800 m above sea level in the middle of the Jesenice natural poetry, is the Karlova Studánka Spa. Due to its location and climate, it is one of the spas with the cleanest air in Bohemia and is therefore especially suitable for active relaxation. However, every visitor who loves unspoiled nature and mountains will certainly find something to their liking here. The spa treats diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure and reduced thyroid function. Tradition and climatic measurements about Karlova Studánka prove that the cleanest air in Central Europe is here. How could it not be, when it lies in unspoiled nature on the eastern side of the highest mountain of the Jeseníky Mountains, Praděd, in the valley of the mountain river Bílá Opava.
This mountain stream, bubbling in waterfalls and the surrounding wide forest complexes, fill the clean air of the local nature (far from the sources of air pollution) with oxygen and negative ions.
Natural healing sources include mineral water and natural carbon dioxide obtained from a depth of 127 m. Natural mineral water has a high content of carbonic and metasilicic acid. It is used for the preparation of carbonic baths and peat wraps, as well as for inhalation and drinking. The clean healing climate is unique.
