Belianska Cave is one of the most visited accessible caves in Slovakia. In addition to bizarre rock shapes, it is known for its rich occurrence of calcite sinter filling. Although interest in the natural sights of the cave has persisted for 125 years, the laws of its creation have not yet been fully clarified. The sightseeing circuit is 1370 m long with an elevation of 125 m, there are 860 steps on the route. The stay in the cave lasts about 70 minutes. The temperature in the cave ranges from 5 to 6.3 °C. The forest road to the Belianska Cave leads from the village of Tatranská Kotlina, a few kilometers northeast of Tatranská Lomnica. An educational trail with a length of about 1000 m leads to the entrance at an altitude of 890 m, which overcomes a height difference of 122 m. The ascent takes about 25 minutes. During the tour of the cave, the visitor can admire sinter waterfalls, pagoda-like stalagmites, lakes and many other forms of cave decoration. One of the stops on the tour route is in the Music Hall, which was named after the sounds of water droplets falling on the surface of the lake. Due to its excellent acoustic conditions, music concerts of recorded classical music were organized in this hall.
