Sherpa SK club Rainer’s cottage

Rainer’s Cottage is the oldest alpine cottage in the High Tatras. It is located not far from the upper station of the cable car to Hrebienok at the mouth of the Great Cold Valley. It was founded in 1863 by a Spiš German, the Smokov hotelier Johann Georg Rainer. After the construction of the Kamzík cottage 19 years later, it ceased to exist
