The spa town of Jáchymov is located 8 km from Boží Dar. In a few minutes you can get here by car or bus. Alert tourists can walk to Jáchymov along the green tourist sign and take a chairlift back (destination station Klínovec).
Jáchymov became famous as early as the 16th century thanks to the production of silver thalers, and then again at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries with the discovery of radium (Ra) by M. C. The Agricola Spa Center is located in the heart of the spa part of Jáchymov. A pleasant promenade leads around it. It is surrounded by beautiful parks where adults can relax and children can have fun. Opposite you can see repaired mine carts by the rock wall, and there is also a spa sports center with minigolf and a tennis court nearby.
