Altitude restaurant – TV tower Bratislava

The TV tower in Bratislava was built on the Kamzík hill in the Little Carpathians in an area called Koliba 433 m above sea level. It is the tallest building in Bratislava. It was built in 1975 and is 194 m high. To this day, it is the tallest tower in Slovakia and its architectural, structural and functional design  is still inspiring today. A team of authors Stanislav Májek, Jakub Tomašák, M. Jurica and Juraj Kozák participated in the project. At present, the tower serves the public. From the point of view of broadcasting, the tower contains broadcasting units, the necessary technology and facilities. In the tower at a height  of 70 m there is an Altitude restaurant. A restaurant in the clouds  that offers a view of the Bratislava skyline that you will not experience anywhere else. 360 degree revolving restaurant is one of the few in all of Europe.
