Café Louvre

Restaurants and breweries Coin no. 123

The Café Louvre on today’s Národní třída, which was opened in 1902, has always been one of the most important establishments in Prague. From the beginning, it was the top of Prague’s café industry and the center of cultural events. After all, such personalities as Franz Kafka and Albert Einstein also came here.

A huge staircase will take you to the first floor, where you will be amazed by the impressive interior with the dominant red color, the abundance of free space, large windows and the classic layout, all in the Art Nouveau style. In the spirit of traditional cafes, you will find various newspapers and board games such as chess or billiards. The café can organize private parties for up to 150 people.
