Since 1999, the Czech Railways Museum in Lužná u Rakovníka has been engaged in the maintenance and operation of historic rolling stock, which, after many years in service, now make railway enthusiasts and all those interested in the history of transport happy.
The museum area is located at the Lužná u Rakovníka railway station, in beautiful nature on the edge of the Křivoklát forests. In the local collections, you can see steam locomotives of various categories and from different periods, as well as historical motor locomotives, motor cars or demonstrations of technical equipment on the railway. Nostalgic train rides also take place here regularly, thanks to which you can not only see the past of the railways, but also experience it for yourself.
