Devil’s Mountain – Harrachov

Cable cars and peaks Coin no. 301

Čertova hora is a distinctive hill (1020 m) located south of Harrachov in the western part of the Giant Mountains in the protective zone of the Giant Mountains National Park. On the northeastern slopes there is a large ski resort Rýžoviště, on the northern slopes there is a ski jump in Harrachov.
A chairlift leads to the top of Čertova hora from Harrachov, overcoming an elevation gain of 350 meters. The cable car leads near the largest mammoth ski jump in the country. It is open all year round. In the summer season, it also transports bicycles for free.
The top of the mountain provides beautiful views of the surroundings and is a very good starting point for hiking and cycling to the ridges of the Giant Mountains. On Devil’s Mountain, there is a take-off area for fans of flying on parachutes and hang gliders.
