Church of Our Lady of Victory

In Prague’s Lesser Town, in Karmelitská Street, stands the Church of Our Lady of Victory. It is of extraordinary importance not only for its architectural aspect and artistic decoration, but especially because the famous statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague is kept and venerated there . The statue of the baby Jesus, exposed to the veneration of people, receives visitors from dozens of countries of the world every day. It has brought miraculous and unusual answers to many people who prayed to God in front of it.  It represents a small child, dressed in a long shirt with bare feet peeking out of it.  With his right hand Jesus blesses, while with his left hand he holds the globe topped with a cross.
