Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, and it is also the capital of the province of the same name. It is located on the Mediterranean coast in northeastern Spain. After Madrid, it is the second largest Spanish city (1.5 million inhabitants, almost 3 million in the agglomeration). In modern times, it is known for the plethora of original architectural buildings by Antoni Gaudí and his contemporaries.
In the very center of Barcelona, just a few minutes from the sea, in the square right next to the famous Ramblas, you will find Flaherty Irish Pub. Since it was founded in 2001, it has become one of the best in Barcelona. The restaurant has very spacious rooms, and offers meals throughout the day until midnight.
