The recently reconstructed stylishly furnished neoclassical Spa Hotel Imperial **** provides high customer comfort to even the most demanding guests. The Slovenská (Mariánskolázeňská) cable car – the Imperial Hotel was the second of three funicular railways in Karlovy Vary built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was the steepest Czech funicular cableway. It led to the Imperial Hotel from the other side of the hill than the underground funicular from Theatre Square, which is still in use.
