An area of 8.5 hectares, various gardening facilities, rich flora and fauna, children’s games and entertainment equipment, a zoo… there are just a few attributes that describe the recreation and entertainment center “Pionirska dolina” and the zoo, which you will definitely find out when you visit us. The popular Pionir Valley is located in the northeastern part of Sarajevo, only 2 km from the city center, in the area of the village of Centar. The main entrance is at Patriotske lige 58.
Although during the aggression in Bosnia and Herzegovina all the content was completely devastated by the constant efforts of KJKP “Park” doo Sarajevo and material investments, in accordance with its own capabilities and financial support from the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, the mentioned site was brought to the state of the correct and from the point of view of a popularized environment.
RZC “Pioneer Valley” is open 365 days a year and the working hours are adapted to the seasons. We offer our visitors a beautiful gardening environment, nature walks, entertainment and recreation on modern equipment for children and adults (autodrome, electric cars, trolleys, rubber city, cars, ropes), games and entertainment on playgrounds with slides, swings, clubs, familiarity and visits to places where you can see various animals such as tiger, lion, lemur, mercat, zebra, Scottish cattle, deer and deer, brown bears, wolf, foxes, llama, kangaroo, duck, peacock, raccoon, raccoon, poultry species. In a very attractive object, we have monkeys in one and exotic species of reptiles (boa, caiman, turtle, iguana) in the second part.
