The traditional U Fleků Brewery and Restaurant will impress you not only with the date of the brewery’s foundation in 1499, but especially with the atmosphere of all eight stylishly furnished guest rooms and halls. From the most famous and probably the most distinctive, called the Academy, where well-known figures of Czech culture met in the last century, through Wenceslas Square with its colourful stained glass windows, the Morning Star with its Gothic vault, to the Knight’s Hall decorated and furnished in a romantic spirit.
The pride of the company is a separate brewery, especially a historic brewhouse from the beginning of the century, cooling stacks and fermentation vats in the fermentation room, made of oak wood according to old models. The current appearance of the brewery is the result of a reconstruction in 1986, from which the brewery emerged as a modern and at the same time unique historical operation.
