Orthodox Church of St. Peter and Paul – a five-dome building in the center of Karlovy Vary. It was built by the architect G. Wiedermann, modeled on the Byzantine-Old Russian church in Osttankin near Moscow with the contribution of the Russian nobility. You will not miss this distinctive building. It is set among mostly Art Nouveau villas in King George Street. The rich decoration of the church was partly sponsored by wealthy Karlovy Vary patients of Russian origin. It also includes a relief of the Russian Tsar Peter the Great. The relief by the sculptor M. Hiller depicts the Russian Tsar Peter I.
