Rešov Waterfalls

Restaurants and breweries Coin no. 167
The Rešov Waterfalls are located on the Huntava River in the Low Jeseník Mountains, 8 km from Rýmařov.  The waterfalls on the Huntava River (springing on the Skala Peat Bog) have been declared a protected natural creation and are one of the most popular tourist destinations. The Huntava River creates cascades and waterfalls here in the canyon-like valley. In the places of the waterfalls, the Huntava overcomes a strip of harder rock (porphyroid). The highest step is 10 meters high.
. The easiest access to the waterfalls on Huntava is from the village of Rešov, 1 km away. A water mill once worked under the waterfalls. In the canyon-like valley, around the waterfalls, the original fir forests with ferns, moss communities of shady rocks and fallen trunks have been preserved.
The area, which has been protected since 1966, has a total area of 71.6 Ha. At a distance of 1 Km from the waterfalls, directly in the village of Rešov, there is a parking lot (also for BUS)
CMQC recommends: Waterfalls are most impressive during spring thaw and after rains, when there is a higher water flow. The average flow is 0.2 m3/s
