Family brewery Chodovar

Since May 1, 2000, the Chodovar family brewery has opened the unique premises of the rock cellars in the form of a stylish pub and museum. Since the spring of 2006, the Chodovar family brewery has been offering its guests an original reconditioning spa therapy. The contents of the bath are enriched with a dose of live brewer’s yeast cultures and a mixture of dried crushed herbs, the surface is covered with a characteristic caramel-coloured beer foam and the space is flavoured with the aroma of freshly brewed dark beer. In addition, a glass of unpasteurized Rock Lager, a drink that contains live yeast cultures and has a positive effect on the digestive tract, is recommended for a stay in the spa. A stay in the modernly reconstructed U Sládka Hotel with a peaceful family atmosphere will also help you relax your body and soul. In the Ve Skále restaurant, guests can enjoy old Czech gastronomic specialties, prepared according to historical recipes, and taste Chodovar beer directly from the lager cellar. The art of local brewers is also represented by a number of other beer specialties. An interesting exhibition of the Chodovar family brewery, located in the former cellars, acquaints visitors with the development of the brewing craft.
